Decentralized Food Procurement Scheme :- |
In Chhattisgarh State, Decentralized Food Procurement Scheme is being implemented in the state since April, 2002. Under this scheme, for paddy procurement Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Marketing Federation and for the procurement of rice, Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation is the authorized agency of the state government. In the current Kharif marketing season 2016-17, 69.58 Lacs Ton paddy has been procured from 13.27 lacs farmers, at support price fixed by the GoI, through 1,287 cooperative societies of the state. |

Mukhamantri Khadyan Sahayta Yojna :- |
Under this scheme, 35 Kg rice@ Rs.1/kg to 7.66 Lacs State AAY families; 10 kg rice free of cost, to 60,277 destitute ration card holders and 10 kg rice @ rs. 1/kg to 8,194 disabled persons of the state are provided every month. Besides payment for the additional 2kg rice each member of 42.61 lacs priority ration cards, payment of the difference amount of the rate at which rice is supplied by the GoI (Rs.3 per kg) and the consumer rate fixed for the rationcardholders(Rs.1 per kg) is being done from this scheme. Under this scheme budget provision of Rs.3,000 Cr. is there in the current FY. 2017-18. |

Antyodaya Anna Yojna :- |
This Scheme has been implemented in the state since, March 2001, for poorest of the poor people. Under this scheme, 35 kg rice@ Rs. 1/kg to each family is provided every month. At present, there are 14.58 Lacs ration cards under the scheme, out of which 7.19 lacs AAY families has been approved by GoI and rest 7.66 lacs AAY families has been approved by the state government. |

Annapoorna Scheme :- |
This scheme of Government of India has been implemented in the state since October, 2001. Under this scheme 10 Kg rice, free of cost, is provided to the old age and destitute people. Under Chhattisgarh Food and Nutrition Security Act,2012, rationcard holders of Annapoorna Scheme have been issued Special Antyodaya rationcard. In Special Antyodaya rationcard, beneficiaries are eligible to get 10 Kg rice, free of cost and 25 kg rice @ Rs.1/kg every month. At present, 7,916 beneficiary ration card holders are being benefitted under this scheme. |

Supply of Foodgrains to welfare institutes :- |
Under this scheme, each beneficiary of the welfare institutes of the state is eligible to get 15 Kg food grains every month at BPL rate. By the approval of GoI, state government is providing rice to "Dal-Bhat" Centers @ 2Rs./kg, out of the allocation received under this scheme. |

Pradhanmantri Ujjwala Yojna :- |
This scheme has been implemented in the state since, 13th August,2016 for the women of the state. By the financial assistance being provided by the state government, by giving 200 Rs.only, beneficiaries of this scheme are being provided gas connection, double burner gas stove and first refill, free of cost. Under this scheme, the target is to provide gas connection to 25 Lacs eligible families within 02 years. As targeted, 10 lacs gas connections have been issued to BPL women in FY.2016-17 and the target for FY. 2017-18 is to provide gas connection to 15 lacs BPL women. |

Scheme for the distribution of Refined Iodized Amrit Salt :- |
By this scheme, rationcard holders of Antyodaya and priority household families are being distributed 2kg free of cost refined iodized salt in scheduled areas and 1kg free of cost in non-scheduled areas. Under this scheme budget provision of Rs.75.81.00 Cr. is there in the current FY 2017-18. |

Chana Distribution Scheme :- |
Under this scheme, beneficiaries of all Antyodaya and Priority families of Tribal Blocks of the state are being provided 2Kg Chana @ 5Rs/Kg every month since January, 2013. Under this scheme budget provision of Rs.400.00 Cr. is there in the current FY 2017-18. |

Annapoorna "Dal-Bhat" Scheme :- |
To provide meals to poor and needy people at very minimum rate that is at the rate of 5 Rs. Annapoorna Dal-Bhat Scheme has been implemented in the state since, 2004. At present, there are 158 "Dal-Bhat" centers in the state. There is provision to give Gas Stove and Pressure cooker, free of cost, to the "Dal-Bhat" centers as an incentive by the state government. Besides this, Dal Bhat centers are being provided rice@ Rs2/kg, chana @Rs.5/kg and salt, free of cost. On daily basis 15-20 thousand beneficiaries are being benefitted under this scheme. |

Lifting of ration for Inaccessible areas, in advance :- |
In such areas of the state where roads become inaccessible during the rainy season, in order to supply foodgrains, sugar, amrit salt and kerosene to beneficiaries, these commodities are lifted in advance, that is before the rainy season. To stock up these commodities for four months, state government provides loan to the fair price shop agencies without any interest rate.
In 2016-17, Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation has been given Rs. 250 Lacs for advance lifting of ration for such inaccessible areas of the state.

Computerization of Fair Price Shops :- |
Under end to end computerization of targeted public distribution system of GoI, computerization of all the functions of public distribution system is to be done in the state. The final step in computerization of PDS in the state is the computerization of Fair Price shops, which has been started since, March, 2012 by Core PDS. Besides Core PDS, computerization of Fair Price shops through Android based Tablet has been started since, August, 2015. At present, 12,068 Fair Price shops are computerized by Android based Tablet in the state. |
